Project
Provide all of the back-end pieces necessary to support the selling and account administration of a third-party long distance service to online customers.

Solution
C-Sharp worked in cooperation with the existing developers and project team to design the administrative process and establish the required COM object interfaces. We were tasked with the implementation of three separate processes necessary for providing administrative functionality as well as the design and implementation of COM objects to wrap RSA BSafe encryption and credit card authorization functionality. The administrative processes communicated with a SQL database to provide tracking of customer enrollments and cancellations in the program, and sent enrollment and cancellation information to a remote FTP server. The credit card authorization object utilized Windows sockets to open a communication channel with a remote server to provide the necessary authentication. We were able to quickly ramp up and provide the customer with a solution that would meet their market window and customer expectations, while working within an accelerated project life-cycle.
